At HAWKEYE, we gravitate towards the uncanny and lean in favor of the strange. We flutter to off-kilter stories like fire worshipers to flame - if your story sets us ablaze, all the better.

We do not shy from the macabre and are drawn to narratives that leave us feeling delightfully unsettled, blissfully scarred. That said, we enjoy uplifting, feel-good stories as well, provided they have the right elements.

We want to see the mundane go wild, the everyday turned on its head. We like to get dirty, and embrace the sterile going septic. Leave us wanting more, or leave us guessing. Was it literal, or was it a dream? We don’t need to know. We need to feel. Make us feel.

At HAWKEYE, we like it when you’re naughty. Check out our guidelines, then promptly ignore them. Send us what you like. We will read your words for as long as we enjoy them. We will publish ANYTHING that stirs our soul.

Ultimately, we don’t like restrictions, so we don’t like to restrict you - or your writing. But let’s be real: at HAWKEYE, we want to see your best.
